Folks have decided to meet on 2:30 Saturday in the Pulse Bar Loft at the Marriott and use the Pandora Celtica band-table in the Hyatt as a congregation point throughout the weekend to pick up guild "ID" stickers.

Keep your eye out for the guild tabard Banner at both locations. I'm sure many of us will also be @ the MMO party Saturday, so we'll consider that a secondary gathering place.

Step 1: Communication: Read the forums, get corp mates to read the forums, listen to chat and vent advice when given, and spread the word.

Step 2: Stay alert and attentive: When you log off always be docked. When you log on check your contacts and local to see if any wardec players are online or in your area. This should be the first thing you do always when wardecced. If they are in your area proceed with caution, newbs just stay docked unless you want to feed the troll. Every time you jump you rinse and repeat this process for each solar system you enter.

Step 3: Establish A Watch System: Keep and eye on your corporation tab. It keeps you informed on any wardecs against you and who made the declarations. When you get a wardec go to this page and add the corp that declared war on you as a contact with Terrible Standing. This allows you to track any of its members in local chat window if they are in your system. Expand local to make it as big as possible to watch for them. If you know any members by name you can add then as contacts and see when they are online. If docked in a system with alot of them just add them while you wait to undock. Rinse and repeat this process for every alliance currently tied to this corp so you have all the players that can attack you on your watch list.

Step 4: Detect and Report: When you detect any wardec players in your location report it to your fellow corp members in corp chat and ventrillo so they know to be cautious. Let them know your location and who is there.

With these simple and easy to follow steps you and your corp should be able to starve any newb farming mafiosos and minimize any unecessary losses to your corp during wardecs.

Volare Enterprises has declared war on Alea Iacta Est Universal.
Within 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.

You read that rights folks.  War has been declared against us in EVE Online.  We have a healthy discussion going on in the forums regarding what our initial strategy is going to be.  This is going to be interesting so stay tuned and keep your weapons ready.

As reported on Kotaku, Valve has anounced a forthcoming expansion named The Sacrifice which will allow players to team  both the casts from the original game and sequal.  Best yet the DLC will be compatible with both version of the game.

"The Sacrifice tells the story of the last Left 4 Dead 2 expansion, The Passing, from the perspective of the original game's cast. You'll find out how they managed to meet up with Left 4 Dead 2's cast, and at the end, will be able to choose for yourself which of the original cast dies (hence the expansion's name), rather than Valve simply pencilling it in."

The expansion will be available for free from Steam on PC and Mac.  For you Xbox players, sorry you are going to have to pay for it.

To the objectionable, misguided and deranged members of the Alliance, I greet you with the words that you are accustomed to use with each other "Kek, How-DEE".

This missive is to serve as announcement to the Alliance. It seems that a few months ago our guild decided to have a little scouting party to remind our foes that although we are both in combat with a hated enemy of both the Horde and Alliance. We The Horde have not recognized any non aggression pact nor truce amongst our factions. The Alliance and the Horde are still at war.

Well it appears that many in the Alliance found this "objectionable" and that it violated the rules of war, as we were not considerate enough to inform them that we were launching a full frontal assault. Furthermore it seems that some members of the Alliance altogether refuse to acknowledge that this event even happened.

Well we say poppy cock!

To alleviate the large amount of self pity and denial on the part of the Alliance after our last foray into their real estate, we are extending a courtesy by announcing that we will be taking residency into one of your capital cities. We invite you to try and keep us out on the day of August 15th around elevensies.
