So I was thinking since I was made guildie of the week, I should do something to give back. So I hereby anounce a new contest by Miy!

The Take a Picture for Purplez Contest!

So here is the basic idea, submit screenshots on this thread to enter the contest, the screen shots must contain you with your guild tag and name visible. The theme is AIE doing stuff, anything you can think of, by yourself or with a group of other AIE members. Each person may submit up to one screenshot, so choose the best one. You must have taken the screenshot yourself.

As the 2 year anniversary approaches, I'd like for you to recall your scariest memory of your childhood.

Was it the clown at your birthday party?

Was it that really scary side-room with scary pictures?

Was it the scary-sounding furnace kicking on and off?

Now take that fear, bottle it up inside of you, turn it into anger, and think about the Alliance.

*waits* *sniffs the air*

Good.

We shall be using this bottled concoction to formulate a raid on the Alliance.

Day: Sunday, February 15th

Time: 9:30pm server time (EST)

Who: Any players are welcome.

Of course, we'd like to get as many 80's as possible - and furthermore, as many healers as possible. We'll need at least 4 level 80 warlocks for summoning, if possible.

Where: 4 Locations:

1. Warsong Hold. This will be a 77-and-up team. Flying mounts required. Level 80's will be filled in this raid until we run out of level 80's, and then we'll fill the rest of the team with those between 77 and 79.

2. Zoram'gor. This team will be for anyone under level 80, as well as spill-over level 80's from #1.

3. Helloise's Super-Secret Location.

If you could, please post here with your character name, class and level. Thanks! Please log in early if possible. We will disperse those who are coming into the appropriate teams before the event begins. If we get warlocks, we'll try to summon each team to its location. The 4 teams (depending on the # of people who come) will be led by me, Helloise, Stigg and Ralff. Whisper me first, and I'll give you your location. You'll get an invite from your team's leader.

Guild Parade

Day: Friday, February 13th
Time: 9:00pm server time (EST)
Who: Any and all guild members
Where: The gates of Silvermoon City

Please arrive early so that we can begin at 9 in an orderly fashion. Late arrivals will of course be welcomed into the group as we march. Along the route, we ask you all to avoid walking under ladders or crossing the path of any black cats.

We will march past all four Horde cities starting at the gates of Silvermoon, home to our newest Horde brethren, the Blood Elves. From there we will wind our way down to the land of the Forsaken, the Undercity, former home to Arthas the Lich king. From Undercity's depths, we shall board a zeppelin to take us across the seas to Orgrimmar, the city of the Orcs and shelter of the Trolls. Lastly, we march to our final destination of Thunder Bluff, the sky city of the Taurens.

After arriving in Thunder Bluff, the second part of the night’s festivities shall begin: The Return to Thunderdome.

The Return to Thunderdome

Day: Friday, February 13th
Time: 9:00pm server time (EST)
Who: Any and all guild members
Where: The gates of Silvermoon City

Thunderdome is an AIE tradition where members converge to test their mettle against one another in the fine art of dueling. This is your chance to hit an officer without getting court-martialed!

There will be as many duels as you can handle, tired of getting smacked around by paladin’s hammer? Challenge him to a weaponless duel. If you’re an engineer bring your trinkets like the mechanical chicken or mechanical dragonling…and we can have a round of mechanical cockfights. If you have your netherwing badge then it’s more of the same – these work best with hunters and rogues who can stealth/feign death so the bots battle themselves. Be prepared to strip down to your skivies and obey the Marquess of Queensbury rules as you engage in bare knuckle brawls.

The goal is to have fun, not to crown a champion – so it’s not a tournament persay, but it is an opportunity to have some serious duels and some funny ones as well.

What is this? AIE is holding a raffle for a Mechano-Hog.

Why would I want a Mechano-Hog? To be the envy of the realm!
The Mechano-hog is a motorcycle mount that is created by top Horde engineers.
It allows another party member to ride along in the side-car, and will take fall damage for you.  Street value: about 20,000g.   Plus, it looks like this:

Who can enter the raffle? Anyone in the alea iacta est guild on Earthen Ring.

War is once again upon us!

This time we face the renewed aggression of the greatest threat to Horde kind. The vile and cruel Arthas Menethil, the Lich King!

Our guild leaders Gerp, Winema and Maui after conferring with our Great Horde Leader Thrall, have called upon us to mobilize and deploy our forces to the continent of Northrend.

Take arms brothers and sisters and join us on Friday, November the 14th (Sunday, November the 16th is our back up just in case of server crashes occur).

Join the deployment procession and let us take the battle to Arthas! Everyone meet up in Thrall's throne room at 10:30 PM server time. We will then begin creating raid groups and begin to processes through the streets of Orgrimmar.

We shall head to the zeppelin tower to meet the enemy head on in Northrend.

Once in Northrend we begin to celebrate, dance and if enough people are interested, we can begin to procure flight points on the new continent.

Onward AIE to victory. To Glory!
